All went well. Location: Superb, in the center of most things. Quick access to the S train, though we didn't use it as the main station was easily walkable, 12 min. Hotel: Solid, spacious, clean, with full services, and excellent service by the staff. I was always made to feel welcome from every staff member I encountered. The walls are soundproof. The doors and hinges were so well constructed, I had to take photos of door hinges. Breakfast buffet: The best a hotel could possibly offer with something for everyone. Certainly, do not miss breakfast, which is very easy to do if you lost six hours of he day flying from the US. I recommend making reservations with Oscars for a meal later in the day, though the magnificent and cordial staff always seemed to find an opening for us, (party of two). In summary, this has become my favorite hotel.

The room was beautiful, we were lucky to have a view of the front of the building and it's majestic statues. A very comfortable bed, and spacious room. We particularly liked the bathroom, the shower was exceptional. The bathtub was operated by a button rather than taps which meant the water temperature took a while to control but once we got the hang of it it was superb. Housekeeping each day was well done and the staff in the hotel were pleasant and professional. The hotel is in a great location and there is a relaxed atmosphere in the lobby and bar. Breakfast, while on the more expensive side. was generous and very enjoyable.

Been already the second time there - before corona and AFTER! The service is as good as before corona I must say (just minor quibbles about junior staff). Breakfast and room splendid - make sure to book the suites which are exquisite! The staff was very friendly but it all depends on the seniority - the younger staff seems to be a bit lost and need a little more schooling on the good old art of smiling and proactivity. Overall an excellent experience and HIGHLY recommended.

Hotel building is a very old, impressive building. The reception and lounge areas are sparkling. The hotel cafe provides a perfect calm ambience with live piano. Wow to the breakfast, lovely staff, very nice SPA that hotel guests can use without booking additional treatment. We received also a little complimentary birthday cake to the room as that was the occasion why we booked the room. The room service is also perfect. We got a complimentary upgrade at the check in.

This is a large hotel and as such there was a walk from the elevator to the room but it was worth it. Very clean and comfortable with possible the nicest bed we've slept on in a long time. Breakfast is superb with food cooked to order if required and a huge selection to meet all tastes.
